PayPal Cart problems. It is better to open your own Cart by clicking a YourCart button BEFORE you use any AddToCart buttons - this avoids a PayPal coding error that MAY return you from your Cart to a PayPal default page. Purchasing using AddtoCart buttons. Clicking on an AddToCart button DOES NOT immediately purchase any item - the item is added to your own Shop Cart which you can access by clicking on any YourCart button. You can easily add and delete items from the Cart and the purchase price for each item will be shown. When you return to Springthyme from your Cart you MAY find you are returned to a frame rather than a full Springthyme page - press the Previous Page button on your browser to return to your original Springthyme page. When you are happy with your proposed purchases you then click the SecureCheckout button on the page accessed by the YourCart button. Payment is through the internationally recognised PayPal stystem - you DO NOT need to join PayPal in order to make a secure payment - you can use any widely accepted payment card - Visa, Master Card, Debit Card, Maestro, American Express etc. Postage and Packing charges are added before you proceed to complete the purchase. Postage, Packing & VAT All parcels and packets are sent 2nd class or parcel rate in the UK, Air Mail (Small Packet or Printed Rate) to Europe and by Air Mail (Small Packet or Printed Rate) to the rest of the world. VAT is charged on CD and cassette sales to the UK and to countries in the EU at 17.5%. Nil VAT on CD and cassette sales outside the EU. No VAT is charged on book sales except for a minimal charge on packaging (an anomaly we have not yet sorted). CDs and Cassettes: Special REDUCED PRICES for postage as below: Single cassettes charged £1.50 postage worldwide. Up to four CDs or cassettes are charged only £2.00 postage worldwide! Larger orders (over £50.00) are charged only £3.00 postage worldwide! Orders from the MTCD series in DVD boxes are charged £2.00 additional postage. Books: Internet Book Shop Postage and Packing is charged the same to UK and Europe. We can not, at present, accept orders from outside Europe for single volumes through our automated Shopping Cart - but we can accept orders for the three volume sets (either paper or cloth) worldwide - we subsidise the international postage costs. Browsers We have tested out the website on a range of popular browsers on both Mac and PC. As far as we know so far the website works well with Internet Explorer 5.0 and above, Firefox 1.03 and above, Netscape 7.2 and above. Safari (v 1.3.1 anyway) is generally slow and shows particular problems with slow downloading of the mp3 sound files. Please let us know of any platform or browser problems. Printing Many of our pages use frames - and it is always difficult to print multiple pages where frame designs are used. If you wish to print the pages in a frame - for example all the songs for a particular CD - then use your browser to View>PageSource to find the code for the frame. Paste this frame code to replace the last element of the html code for the page you are interested in. The whole frame page can then be printed as usual. Music Software Browsers require suitable Plug-Ins to play mp3 music files. These usually come as part of a browser installation but you can obtain free updates from e.g. Quicktime. Currency Converter  If you would like to know the approximate value of your order in your local currency then use the DropDown Menu beside each pruced item or use the International Currency Converter to calculate the cost of your order in your own currency -- Dollars, Yen, Marks, Francs etc. etc. Just click on the logo. Your Card will be debited at the current conversion rates as determined by PayPal when you place your order.
