Rod Stradling

Rod Stradling is an enthusiast for traditional song and for the last several years has run the Musical Traditions online magazine which he took over from the printed edition after printed publication became uneconomic. He is also a melodeon player and was a founder member of the Old Swan Band formed in 1974. The band emerged from sessions in a pub in Cheltenham, The Old Swan in 1973. A number of important CD compilations have been issued by Musical Traditions in association with Springthyme including one from the iconic Aberdeen singer Daisy Chapman.
